With Sunday lunch such a family focal point, it’s a hugely important meal and it’s one that we have well covered. Local farmers deliver their produce to the hotel each day, ensuring maximum freshness and the finest quality.

Beef is a key component of any traditional Sunday lunch and ours is sourced from Joe Simpson’s Butchers of Cockfield – a mere 10-minute drive from the hotel. His quality cuts of meat are accompanied by only the best of our home-grown vegetables, which are all produced right here on our farm.

For those looking to impress a special someone of an evening though, our dinner menu should do just the trick – even if your conversation starters don’t! With roast pork fillets, our very own beef burger, sea bass and plenty more on offer, our dinner menu provides for a range of tastes. Exquisite food combined with an intimate atmosphere, means it’s a blend that’s sure to impress.

Although date nights with a loved one are great, so are lavish celebratory dinners. We have a variety of private dining options, with The Drawing Room catering for up to 40 diners – a solid number for any party. With on-hand waiting staff and dedicated catering, Headlam Hall is the perfect place to host spectacular dinner parties.

And while our sumptuous food is very tempting, a drink at the bar is sometimes all you need. Our Library, with its relaxing ambience, is the perfect space for a quiet, end of the week tipple – or even a little midweek pick me up.
